The first scholarship is provided by freecollegescholarships.net and it is a $10,000 scholarship drawing.  To apply for this scholarship you only need to be eighteen years old and be a resident of the United States.  The easy, one-page registration form is all you need to complete to enter the $10K scholarship drawing.  The drawing occurs every month so don’t forget to register as soon as you get a chance.

The American Association of Railroad Superintendents (AARS) is pleased to announce the availability of annual scholarships for eligible college or university students enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada.  This scholarship awards $1,000.  You need a minimum 2.75 grade point average and need to be enrolled full-time in a U.S. or Canada college or university.  You can either be a graduating high school senior or an undergraduate college student.  Graduate students as well as transfer students are also eligible to apply.  You don’t have to demonstrate financial need and the deadline for the scholarship is on June 1st.

There is no magic pill to getting scholarship money.  It’s simply a formula of putting as much energy and effort into your application and applying to as many scholarship programs as you qualify for.

Considering a Move to Canada after College. What city do you recommend?
I'm currently a freshman in High School but I'm looking to the future. I would like to attend college in the states, but after that I'm thinking of making a move to Canada. They have a much lower crime rate. Also, I'm sick of American politics and understand that conservatives in Canada aren't conservative to the same extreme as those in the U.S. Overall, it seems to be very liberal overall, if I'm not mistaken.
The cities I'm looking at right now are: Ottowa, Vancouver, Montreal, Quebec, Calgary, and Toronto. Does anyone have any experience with these cities? Thanks in advance everyone!
